Netra Arts Studio - Foster City
Painting is taught in all mediums and techniques based on the interest and skill level of the student. Classes are taught with an emphasis on unlocking the student’s creativity while also helping develop their motor skills (for toddlers and younger kids). Students are introduced to the magnificent world of colors, color palettes, color charts and the art of mixing and matching colors to create unique colors and color effects. All art supplies are provided by the Studio.

Painting classes are offered for all ages, from toddlers to teens and adults.
- Tuesday : 5:00pm - 6:00pm
- Thursday : 4:00pm - 6:00pm
- Sunday : 10:00am - 3:00pm
Netra Art institute will work with homeschool groups within or outside our regular studio class times. Groups may come to the Netra studios to be instructed in drawing, painting, clay sculpture, cartooning, animation, figure drawing, portraiture and more.
Starting at age 3, Netra studios offer classes for 3-4 year olds to take with a parent. Parents are taught how to help their young child learn to draw. This class is a joint class for both child and parent. Ask the studio about this program.

Colored Clay Modeling
Drawing is one of the major forms of expression within the visual arts.We work with pencil, pen, charcoal, pastel and ink.
A portrait is a artistic representation of a person, in which the face and its expression is predominant. The intent is to display the likeness, personality, and even the mood of the person.
Clay is highly versatile, extremely easy to work with, and the ideal modeling material for the beginners to start their journey of creativity.
