This fun and exciting camp will teach your child how to successfully paint a picture using acrylic paint on canvas. We will cover fundamental acrylic painting techniques as well as general topics such as composition and color. The camp will begin with a guided painting session, where our instructor will walk students through the process of creating their own painting using a reference, and explain basic techniques. This will help the kids feel more confident when they attempt a painting on their own.

The remainder of camp will be spent painting both from life and photographs, with careful guidance from the instructor and detailed explanations of fundamental concepts of painting. There will be food, music, and a fun, energetic environment where kids will make friends at the same time as they explore their creativity! If your child is a more advanced student, projects can be made more challenging to suit their level, with additional instruction given.
